Moissanite Color: Mastering the Basics

If you’ve entered the world of shopping for engagement rings, you may have heard of something called the 4 C’s. Those 4 C’s stand for Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat, and are used to help customers understand the most important characteristics to consider when purchasing a diamond or gemstone. Today we’re going to look at the quality of Color, specifically in our Forever One Moissanite and Forever Brilliant Moissanite.

When grading color in a gemstone like Moissanite, it’s all about what you can’t see. Like diamonds, Moissanite gemstones are valued by how much they approach colorlessness but of course are far more affordable.

Forever One Moissanite fall in the D–E–F range on the GIA color scale, which registers as colorless, the purest of the pure. One of the most important aspects of Forever One Moissanite is that it is internally colorless without any treatment or enhancement, meaning its beauty and brilliance will last forever.
